Are Short-Term Rentals Allowed in Bloomfield Township?
On June 1, 2021 the township supervisors said:
Rent or a rental unit for a term less than thirty (30) days, also known as a short-term rental, is considered a commercial use and shall be expressly prohibited. We do allow for long-term rentals, but not short-term of less than 30 days.

What Cities Are Located in Bloomfield Township?
The only city within Bloomfield Township, Michigan, is Bloomfield Township. The township is separate from the cities of West Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills, and Birmingham. West Bloomfield is located to the west, and parts of Bloomfield Township surround Bloomfield Hills and Birmingham, so it can be a little tricky.

While it’s a non-sports lake, many residents pull their sports equipment behind their boats through the canal outside of Bloomfield Township to Upper Long Lake, which is an all-sports lake. Gilbert Lake
Gilbert Lake is a private, non-sport lake. The lake covers 63 acres and has a 1.8-mile shoreline. There’s no boat launch. However, fish in Gilbert Lake include:

Johnson Nature Center provides forty acres for visitors to enjoy. The grounds include a four-acred pond, two miles of walking trails, and wildlife pens. Fishing, birding, wildlife viewing, and maple sugaring are among the possible activities at the Nature Center.
People who live around the township’s many lakes often spend time enjoying lakeside activities. However, the lakes are all private, and most are non-sport lakes.
